A softer material that adheres well to the floor surface, providing effective fluid collection without damaging the flooring. However, rubber slides are less durable and wear out faster, especially when working on abrasive or rough surfaces.
A stiffer and more wear-resistant material that lasts significantly longer than its rubber counterparts. Polyurethane is resistant to chemical attack, mechanical damage and retains elasticity at different temperatures. Such slides are better suited for intensive use and difficult cleaning conditions, although they are more expensive.
