Conditions under which it is possible to wash floors outdoors
- To ensure that outdoor floor cleaning is safe and effective, it is important to consider a number of factors:
- Level of protection
- Waybot manufactures models with different dust and moisture protection ratings. For example, robots with an IPX4 rating or higher can withstand rain, fog, and humidity. However, this does not mean that they can be used in heavy rain or on icy surfaces.
- Surface and type of dirt
- Suitable:
- tiles, concrete, smooth stone;
- flat, solid, and non-loose surface;
- dust, sand, dirt, wet spots.
- Not recommended:
- loose surfaces (gravel, crushed stone, soil);
- uneven surfaces, curbs, drainage grates;
- areas with steep slopes.
- Weather conditions For outdoor cleaning in borderline conditions, the following are acceptable:
- temperatures from +5°C to +35°C;
- no precipitation;
- wind up to 5 m/s;
- normal lighting or the ability to navigate using lidar.
